The dimensions of the Cavity Step Plate ensure that it is suitable for use on cavity wall constructions meeting current Part L regulations for 150mm cavities. Made from heavy duty steel, the Cavity Step Plate is designed as a walkway over cavity walls still under construction, bridging the cavity to provide site personnel with access onto the working deck when stepping from scaffolding and vice versa. The vivid and highly visible yellow/black colour and print of the Cavity Step Plate also serves to alert site personnel of the designated crossing and access points on the plot. This temporary walkway is designed for the demarcation and access of personnel and should not be loaded with materials or machinery.
