The RailSafe Telescopic Handrail is a component of the RailSafe Barrier System – a temporary and reusable barrier system designed to help prevent falls from height. RailSafe Telescopic Handrails are constructed from tubular steel, with the outer tube being 40mm diameter. The telescopic nature of the construction allows adjustment to the handrail length. A fixing hole at each end allows the handrail to be attached to the RailSafe metal posts via the anti-luce fittings which are part of the RailSafe metal post assembly. RailSafe Telescopic Handrails should only be used in conjunction with the other components that make up the RailSafe barrier system and should not be used with any other barrier system.
