Protecta Board™ Flame Retardant (LPS 1207) is a twin wall fluted polypropylene protection board for floors, windows, doors, worktops and other finished surfaces during construction, refurbishment, decorating and maintenance work — supplied as a full 2.4m x 1.2m (8ft x 4ft) sheet covering 2.88m². Flame retardant to meet the requirements of LPS 1207.
Lay sheets edge to edge and tape the joints for a continuous, secure layer of protection. It cuts cleanly with a utility knife, is lightweight to handle and can be lifted and reused on the next job. Clean white finish gives a bright, professional look on handover-standard sites and show homes.

Typical uses
Use it to protect finished floors – timber, laminate, tiles, vinyl, stone and screed – along with windows, glazing, door frames, kitchen worktops, units, stairs, landings, walls and corners on access routes, and bathrooms and sanitaryware during fit-out and handover. Choose the thickness to suit the job: 2mm for light to medium-duty work such as decorating, trades and short-term protection; 3mm for general site use, steady foot traffic and longer programmes; and 4mm for heavy-duty protection on high-traffic routes, where trolleys and materials are moving, and on commercial fit-outs.
