Your feet should be protected from potential injuries in fast-moving working environments, such as burns caused by extreme heat or harmful chemicals. They can also protect you from falling objects. Wearing work boots can prevent slip and fall accidents and muscle strains.

Our work boots are available in an array of styles, colours and sizes. To select the pair that best suits your needs, we recommend reading the product specification. Consider the following characteristics:

    • Toe protection: Most of our work boots have either a steel or composite toe cap.
    • Midsole protection: Midsoles are also either composite or steel.
    • Heat resistance: Many of our items can resist heat up to 300℃
    • Water resistance: Most work boots are waterproof and have a water-resistant leather upper.
    • Slip-resistant sole: This feature will prevent you from having slip and fall accidents. In a work setting where oil or water spills occur often, it is wise to wear boots. The sole material makes the boot grip better on slippery ground.

  • Anti-static sole: If you work at a fuel plant, a mine, or a workshop, you may need anti-static footwear. We have work boot options which have been designed to minimise static electricity. This type of sole reduces the effects of static charge build-up. This way you will prevent the risk of electric shock.
  • EN Standard: Most of our work boots are EN ISO 20345-certified. This certification determines the main requirements for general-purpose safety footwear. EN 20345 includes the requirements related to ergonomic behaviour, slip resistance, and thermal and mechanical risks.

Our best-selling work boots count with most of these features, and additionally, you can enjoy these features:

  • Anti-penetration steel midsole
  • Ankle support in all terrain
  • Antibacterial properties
  • Oil and chemical resistant soles
  • Padded tongue and collar for added comfort.

If you prefer fewer sturdy designs, you can choose one of our lightweight boots, such as our Dewalt Apprentice Nubuck Hiker Boots. This design will make you feel comfortable. These boots offer a dual-density seat region for shock absorption in sole.

Tiger Supplies also has 100% non-metallic options like the Apache ATD Dakota Black. If you like tough boots suitable for harsh working environments, this would be the design for you.

When should you replace your work boots?

In the right conditions, your boots can last many years. However, when you use them daily, they will mostly last up to 12 months.  You should consider the following factors that contribute to footwear degradation:

  • Extreme temperatures can harm the components
  • Performing no maintenance or cleaning routines
  • Misuse, such as using your boots to kick or move objects
  • Accidents
